Happy #9 Madison!!!

Holy Moly...how is this girl 9 years old???  She woke up to birthday donuts and a fun, decorated chair from Trixie.  She had a special birthday lunch at school, followed by presents and a fun birthday hibachi dinner at Hana.

We celebrated Mimi and Madison on Mimi's actual birthday.

Del Frisco's

Chase had some trade he won at work so we took the girls to their first "fancy" dinner at Del Frisco's to celebrate the almost birthday girl.  It was sooooo good!!!

Emma had her first softball practice and they were super cute.  She is ready to play!

 

Heard Museum

We renewed our Heard Museum membership and had a great afternoon exploring the trails.  Our favorite encounter was a tiny baby squirrel that was super close to us and seeing hundreds of turtles on the Wood Duck Trail.

 

On St. Patrick's Day we had a volleyball scrimmage to start off the season and the girls did great!  They are still playing up in the 4th grade league.  We celebrated afterward at Boomer Jacks.

AG Store/Zoo

Next on the list was lunch at the AG store and then a little shopping.  After that we headed to the park to try and fish but weren't very successful.

The next day it was time for the zoo!  The weather was great and we got up close and personal with the animals but I'm glad we went early because by noon it was literally a zoo!  So many people there, enjoying their spring break.
