Family Pictures 2014

As 2014 comes to a close I'll leave you with some of my favorite shots from our yearly photo session.  A week before Disney World, we met Laura out at the Allen Dams for our family pictures.  As always she captured some wonderful images and we had a great time hiking through the woods, climbing up the rail road trestle, and balancing on the dam.  It was an adventure for sure and she got some really great shots!

Thanks for a great year 2014, can't wait to see what happens next!

Cruisin Frozen Style

I see lots of hours of constant circles in the cul-de-sac.  Santa knew what he was doing with this one.  Now if we could get up above 40 so we could stay out longer than 10 minutes...

However, for a fun indoor activity this flutterbye fairy has given us plenty of entertainment over the last few days.  Emma was afraid of it at first but has slowly warmed up to her flying around the house.  They have named her Cinderella because she "dances" and hovers around until she hits something or runs out of juice.  Madison LOVES it!

Happy 95th!

Granddaddy will be 95 on New Year's Day!  It's sometimes hard to get everyone up and moving after New Year's Eve so we did a nice birthday dinner at Tricia's house a couple days ago.  At first glance you would never guess this guy just is 5 years shy of being 100 years old.  Oh, the things he has seen in his 95 years.  Lookin' good Granddaddy!

All Granddaddy's grand and great grand kids.  Even Sariah, Kevin, and new baby Felix joined us from New York via Face Time for the group pic.  Happy Birthday to you Granddaddy!

Paci Fairy!

On Christmas night Emma left her paci out for our elf, Trixie, to take back to the North Pole for the baby elves.  We have been talking about it for a month now so when the time came to pass it over she was ready.  Easiest thing ever, phew.  Great job Emma!

On the 26th the girls spent the night at my parents house.  This was a first for Emma so I was a little worried she would ask about her paci but she never mentioned it once.  They had a great time looking at Christmas lights in Highland Park and actually got out and walked around the neighborhood.

Meanwhile, Chase and I had a grand old time at The House of Blues with some of our fellow North Star parents.  They are a fun group!

Culp Family Christmas

After playing with all our Santa gifts it was time to keep going and make our way to Gram and Grandad's house for the Culp Family Christmas.  I never get as many pictures as I want, like one with Gram and Grandad, because it goes from 0 to 60 in about two seconds and can be a tad overwhelming!

Playing in Grandad's new toy.   He put the hood on and took the kids for a ride around the block one by one because it's only a 2 seater.  This was Ih's car and Clint got it all cleaned up!

Monster High Catacombs to house all her dolls.  It's as tall as she is.

We have dolls out the wazoo!

I didn't get a picture but Madison got an awesome pink, retro style car for her American Girl dolls that plays real music and Emma got a super cute bunk bed.  These dolls are set for life with all their goods!  One of Kylie's gifts was a karaoke machine and it provided lots of post gift entertainment.  I see lots of noise, I mean music, in Jill's future.  =)
