Easter Egg Hunt
On Easter weekend the church at Emma's school did an Easter egg hunt so we went to check it out after volleyball. Madison said she preferred her eggs to be hidden rather than spread in a field! The kids were separated into groups so I stayed with Emma while Madison hunted with Max and Merryn.
Baby Ava
Over Easter weekend we got a quick visit in with sweet Ava Rose. She is such a doll and the girls just love her!!!
Angels
The Angels season is well underway and Madison is doing great. I love to watch her play and she's been hitting and fielding like a pro. The other night she fielded a ground ball at short stop and then launched it over to Kylie at first for the out. So exciting!
snake skin
As we were leaving the club house for our Girl Scout meeting I saw this big snake skin by the tree. Who do you think was first to pick it up? The girls said they had seen a baby snake the weekend before while Chase and I were hunting so I guess this was mama!
Wild Flowers
Emma and I drove by Crowley Park in an effort to find some bluebonnets and while we didn't see many of those we did see some amazing wild flowers which may be better than bluebonnets!
Padducah
Chase convinced me to go out to the deer lease with him, it really didn't take much convincing, to go turkey hunting. I've never been hunting before but I actually really enjoyed it. We heard the turkeys but we never saw the turkeys so didn't get to shoot at them. Probably better that way because cleaning a turkey in the woods sounds messy, ha! It was super relaxing to just be outside, with no little people, and explore the property. We saw deer, lots of different birds, a coyote, and some hogs. We actually tried to get over to the hogs but they were in the cow pasture and as soon as we pulled in the cows stormed us because they thought we were bringing them food so we couldn't get a good shot. We stayed at the Hunter's Lodge which is actually an old funeral home turned motel, couldn't make that up if I tried, but it wasn't too creepy. I just tried not to envision all the dead people that had been in my room before me. Lots of fun and I would go back!
Emma Time and T Ball!
A new Disney movie always comes out around Madison's birthday and this year it was Beauty and the Beast. She saw it at a birthday party so I took Emma to see it while Madison was in school. So good!!!
I love this outfit and this is great advice!
Finally it is Emma's turn for t-ball! She has watched countless hours of softball so she was counting down the days until she could have her own practice with daddy. They did really great!

Family Parties
This weekend we had our families over to celebrate the birthday
girl. We are so busy that I couldn't book her actual party till the end of
April so we'll just celebrate for a while like we usually do. Friday
night Mimi, Pa, Michael, Brittney, and Bradley came over for pizza and
cake. We celebrated Madison and we celebrated Mimi!
Again, she got some much needed clothes and American Girl accessories. We have so much AG stuff it's unreal. Her favorite gift was the Welly Wisher, Camille. She was quite excited to add this doll to her collection.
On Saturday the Culp clan came over to celebrate and Chase made yummy lasagna. The girls put on a show for us before presents.
