Unicorns Team Party

Tonight we had a fun party to celebrate our Unicorn family and our great softball season.  The weather was great so all the kids ran around Isabelle's awesome backyard and pizza and goodies were enjoyed by all.  Since we don't get participation trophies anymore I thought it would be nice for Chase to give the girls a little something so I found these softball ornaments at Hobby Lobby and put each girl's number on it.  They were a big hit!  Way to go Unicorns, what a wonderful season.  However, we are looking forward to playing girls our own age and not a full head taller!

2 Peas in A Pod

Emma had her first play date with her school buddy, Finely.  These 2 have such similar personalities and I'm sure they give Mrs. Liggins a run for her money!  They had the best time dressing up.   I see lots of play dates in our future.

Happy Halloween!

We hosted Halloween this year and had 5 other families over for dinner before heading out to trick or treat.  Chase smoked chicken and pork and everyone brought a side to share.  The kids had fun playing and the police may or may not have ended up at our door.  Apparently one of our little friends called 911 and all the authorities heard on the other end of the line was a bunch of screaming kids.  The caller claimed she thought it was just a play phone and half the adults were surprised we still have a land line, ha!  Note to self, next time take the phone out of the play room.  Happy Halloween!

Mimi and Pa always come over to hand out candy while we are out getting our own!

Chase was busy tending the smoker so once again I didn't get a family pic!  grrrrr

Madison was Honey Swamp (Monster High) and Emma was Cinderella.  They match their dolls!

There's daddy!

Our neighbor Bailey came by to trick or treat before we left.

Here's our cute group!

We found our cute, old neighbor Kayla.  She was Madison's age when we moved in, sheesh!

We took the kids over to the haunted driveway and Madison found the guy "dancing" in the electric chair.

Mr. Mark!

Love these cute mamas and their babies!

Emma's Halloween Party

I signed up to help with Emma's school Halloween party because I love Halloween and so I can be done!  Ha.  I made super cute Vampire donuts and we played a musical chairs type game where you walk around a circle and whoever landed on the spider won a prize.  I didn't want to make anyone cry by telling them they were out!

I didn't think about sending a change of clothes but when I picked Emma up from school she had on a summer dress I had sent at the beginning of the year and a long sleeve shirt under it that wasn't ours.  I asked her where she got it and Mrs. Liggins was cracking up telling me that Emma said her boobies were showing and she needed a long sleeve shirt under her dress!  So, she marched down to the front desk with an aid and got a long sleeve shirt.  They all got a good laugh out of that one.

She won "Best Pigtails" for her pumpkin

Lunch Date

Emma and I had a "Wendy's and Walmart" day where we had lunch before doing a little grocery shopping.  I took this cute pic of her and then realized her shirt was on backwards, ha!  In my defense, she dressed herself but in her defense I guess I need to pay more attention before leaving the house.  We ordered our food and she really wanted to sit by the faux fireplace.  I told her we should sit at a real table first and then sit by the fire before we left.  She looked at me and in her sass-i-frass cute 4 year old voice she said, "Mom, if I was you I would just listen to what my kid wants to do!"  Hand motions and all.  This one is a sassy little thing.  So where do you think we sat???

Dance Dress up Day

For Halloween week the girls got to wear their costumes to dance class.  It was also show off day but since both girls have class at the same time, lucky for me, Mimi came to watch Madison and I watched Emma.  Next time we will switch.

I love that they have big TV's in the waiting room so I can watch them.

After dance we went to Plano East for Pal-O-Ween.  I was a little nervous it might rain on Halloween so I wanted to sneak in something fun just in case.  The girls got to trick or treat and play games around the school.

We ran into Elle while we were palling around...
