Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving from my turkeys to yours! We spent a nice day at mom's house eating, playing games, making gingerbread houses and relaxing.

After the Princesses...Our Final Hours
After breakfast and meeting Anna/Elsa the rest of the day was spent riding rides we hadn't ridden yet and re-riding our favorites. We had lunch at Be Our Guest which is inside Beast's castle. A couple weeks before the trip we received an email asking if we wanted to try their new pre-order reservation. This put us ahead of all the people with fast passes and getting in can be tricky so we jumped on the chance to eat here. We ordered our food online a couple weeks in advance and upon arrival scanned our magic bands. Technically our order should have been saved but for some reason it didn't pull up so we had to make our selections again at the kiosk. I guess they are still working out some kinks but the food was great.

Aladdin's Magic Carpet. Emma really liked this ride and would squeal when Madison made it go up and down saying, "it tickles my tummy!"
Merida was one princess we hadn't met yet and we really wanted to see her. It took a while before we got to enter her castle but her set up was really neat and I loved her accent! Brave is one of my favorites.
Emma passed out in the stroller while we were in line to meet Merida and she stayed asleep through our entire lunch. She fell asleep every day and each time she slept longer and longer. I think she was zonked out for a full 2 hours today.
When in Disney World...
Jungle Cruise! This ride was fun and the guide was very entertaining but we had to wait a while.
Space Mountain was a much anticipated ride today. We used rider swap on this so the big girls got to ride twice. Madison was a little nervous about sitting by herself but did just fine. This ride was jerkier than I remember. I was on the verge of a headache before riding and had to pop 2 advil immediately after. wowza!
We loved riding Seven Dwarfs Mine Train again.
Rapunzel and Cinderella, why was your line soooo long and soooo slow? We got in line to meet these princesses only because the approx wait time was 20 minutes. What a joke! I think we waited at least an hour to meet these beauties. Had we known, these two would have been skipped. Jill and I needed a cocktail after waiting in line with these little hoodlums for so long. Waiting, especially waiting without whining, is hard. Most definitely the hardest part of Disney World. Whether you are 3 or 93, no one likes to wait in line.
It's A Small World was another one of our favorites, so much to look at! This was our last ride of the trip. Then we grabbed a quick dinner at Pinocchio's Village before scouting out a spot for the fireworks.
People start claiming seats for the night time show early so we got really lucky and barely squeezed in a spot in front of the castle. They rope off large areas and keep the rest of the walkway open for emergency purposes so once those spots fill up you have to keep walking toward the back of the park. First up was the Electrical Parade and it was really neat.
After the parade was a really cool projection show displayed on Cinderella's castle. Then was the build up to the final firework production. Disney must spend a fortune on fireworks. We were so ridiculously exhausted that I didn't know if we were going to make it. Jill's crew was done and left after the electrical parade. About half way through we decided to start walking toward the front to try and beat the crowds to the bus. We pulled the stroller backwards so the girls could still watch the show.
Before the bus arrived the girls were out. We had to collapse the stroller to get on, so with two sleeping girls, a big stroller, and all our gear...that final bus ride was a doozie!
All I can say is WOW!!! What a fun, magical, and super memorable trip. A huge thanks to Gram and Grandad for all your help and special treats! This week truly made an impact on the girls and three weeks later they are still playing "Disney World" every single day. They love looking at all the pictures and videos over and over and over again. Even Emma remembers the tiniest detail or something one of the princesses or ride operators said that stuck with her. I constantly hear, "When we can go back?!?!" Maybe in a couple years, mama needs time to recuperate! It was a tough 5 days with no time to rest and there were plenty of grumpy moments. BUT, looking back through all the pictures and seeing the expressions of excitement and happiness plastered on the kids' faces makes it all worth it. Until next time Disney!!!
Just when I thought it was all over (and quite ironic considering I just finished my last Disney blog post last night)...Mickey sent us a thank you in the mail for coming to see him.

A Princess Kind of Morning...
Monday was our final day in Disney and we spent it at Magic Kingdom. Today was a LONG day and started extra early with breakfast at Cinderella's Royal table. So early in fact that we had to take a cab to the park because we didn't think we could make it to the bus by 6:45 AM. The cab took us on a bit of a joyride but we finally got there. Breakfast was great and we loved all the princesses!
The girls were all decked out in their Frozen attire because we were also going to see Anna and Elsa. I love these early morning pictures in front of the castle, they are some of my favorites!
As we were waiting to meet Cinderella, Chase realized our camera was out of batteries. I was seriously about to cry. Shame on me for not charging it but the night before I swear it still had 3 bars. Oh well, luckily Jill had plenty of juice to get us both through the last day.
We really enjoyed the breakfast. The food was great and so was the company.
Chase left the breakfast about 10 minutes early to get in line for Anna and Elsa. We actually had a fast pass to meet them later in the day but decided to try and meet them in the morning while everyone was still cute and in good moods. This also freed up a fast pass so we could use it for something else.

Not gonna lie, I was pretty excited to see the Frozen sisters myself. It was so fun to watch the girls meet their idols. They were on cloud 9 and beside themselves with excitement! Anna and Elsa were both really great and their personalities were spot on. Elsa told the girls Olaf has always wanted to get a pair of cowboy boots and a cowboy hat so he could come to Texas and go to the beach.
