Party Time

After the ceremony it was off to the gorgeous reception site. It was out in the country a little bit so there was awesome outdoor space and a big, wide open room for the party. Madison kept everyone entertained at the beginning of the reception by dancing on the stage. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture but I think we we may have a little ballerina on our hands. This was her first wedding and she did really well and enjoyed it just as much as the rest of us.

She kept my parents and Chase busy running around outside, enjoying the grounds.

Fun girl pictures!

Baby Emma's first wedding. =)

Love these girls, wish we all lived closer together.

This picture turned out blurry but I had to include it because it's hilarious.

Time for cake

Mimi changed Madison's clothes before she dug into the cake so she wouldn't get it all over her pretty dress.

Sharing cake and giggling with her new best friend Dave

You can't go to an Aggie wedding without sawing Varsity's horns off!

Madison danced along to the song

Dancing with daddy before it was off to bed. Madison did not have a nap the entire day so I was a little worried she might be cranky but she was such a trooper and had a blast!

Good night sweet girl!

Oh wait, I can't leave without kissing Dave goodbye!

After my parents left we didn't get any more pictures but the dance party started and we all jammed for a few hours before sending the bride and groom off through a sea of bubbles. Then Chase and I headed to the hotel to remove the 75 bobby pins from my head! I must confess it was bittersweet watching the bride and groom run off to the limo because I had to say goodbye to some great friends who I don't get to see nearly enough but we sure had fun while we were all together. Congrats Brian and Stephanie, everything was fabulous!

Here Comes the Bride!

On Saturday morning all the girls met up at a local salon and pretty much took over the whole place for hair and makeup! After that it was on to the church to finish getting ready before the ceremony. My parents drove in on Saturday and brought Madison to the wedding so I was so glad for Stephanie to get to meet her! They sat in the back of the church and as we all lined up to walk down the aisle Madison had her entire face pushed up against the glass waving at me so we were all laughing at her cute little pig nose smashed up on the window. It was a good stress reliever since I was first to walk through the doors.

The beautiful Shumway sisters

Stephanie was a stunning bride!

Fluffing the dress

I really loved the bridesmaid dresses. They were very flattering on everyone and helped conceal my 5 months pregnant belly!

I was so excited for Madison to finally get there! She got to hang out with us for about 15 minutes before the ceremony and meet all the girls.

She was a little unsure at first with all the new faces but definitely came out of her shell at the reception.

Daddy, Madison, and her new friend Dave. Dave is Katie's husband and Madison was completely infatuated with him. She wanted to sit by him during the ceremony and I heard they played with her Strawberry Shortcake dolls during the service. This was Madison's first time to meet him and she loved him and flirted with him all night, it was hilarious!

Stephanie and Brian each had 10 friends standing next to them so it was quite the wedding party! Everyone was really great and we all had a blast.

Our little family of 3, soon to be 4!

Only Stephanie would have Elvis at her wedding! Apparently one of Brian's friends was dared to show up as Elvis and he definitely delivered. The wedding was a full mass so communion was served and the Reverend could hardly keep a straight face as Elvis walked up to the alter. We were all laughing under our breath, it was awesome!

Madison and The King! I couldn't pass up this picture opportunity.

Wedding Weekend

Late last night we got home from our super fun wedding weekend in New Braunfels. Stephanie and Brian finally tied the knot and threw a fabulous party. I flew into San Antonio on Thursday so I could be there for the bridesmaid luncheon on Friday morning. Chase drove in after working part day Friday and met us at the rehearsal dinner. It was a great time and I took a million pictures as usual so I'm breaking this up into a couple posts. Here are some pics from the luncheon and rehearsal dinner.

A big thank you to Jen who picked me up at the airport and let me crash with them Thursday night. She was also my personal chauffer around New Braunfels! We got to be good friends toward the end of college but since we live so far away never get to see each other so it was so much fun catching up.

Roomies!

After the luncheon I went to hang out with Katie and meet her adorable little man, Parker.
