Thank You For Your Service...
On Tuesday my brother received a very special delivery...his Honorable discharge papers from the United States Marine Corps. He's been "out" for 4 years now but when you enlist you technically belong to the government for 8 years so they can call you back at any time. I know it was bittersweet for him. 5 years ago he was fighting for his life (and all of ours) in Iraq and he told me he honestly didn't think he'd make it home. We are so proud of you Michael, thanks so much for all you went through! It's people like you who make it possible for people like us to enjoy all life has to offer. And you have two very special little girls who think you hung the moon!

Culp Family Christmas
Ok, this is the last of my Christmas posts! The day after Christmas we all gathered at Chase's parents house for our big family Christmas celebration. There are now 6 grandkids plus all the adults that go with them so it's always hilarious to see all the presents under the tree and all the stockings lined up on the fireplace. They are just about out of room!

Madison got her very own trash truck! For those of you who read my blog you may recall a post on trash truck Thursdays. Every Thursday we MUST go outside as soon as we hear the trash man and wave like crazy. He loves us and always waves back and toots his horn as he drives by.
Now it's time for her big present, what could it be?!!!

Ride 'em cowgirl!
She rode and rode and her hair was flying everywhere. Lacey sings and makes galloping noises so she's very cute. I'm glad we had our new car otherwise Lacey might not have made it home that night, she's a big girl!

Christmas at Mimi and Pa's
It was really hard to tear Madison away from her new toys but we finally made it over to my parents house around 1 o'clock for round 2 of Christmas Day. When we walked in she immediately saw her fun new pink table and chairs that Mimi and Pa got for her and Emma. I see lots of tea parties and coloring on this table in our future.

Madison got a super cute growth chart. This is something we probably should have bought over a year ago but I guess it's better late than never. I'll just have to look up her growth milestones and pencil them in.
She was a pro at opening presents this year and ripped through all her gifts in no time.

She was pooped after a long morning and afternoon so it was time for a snooze.

After a super fun afternoon it was time for a nap. Mimi and Pa made up the buzzy bee game so before Madison takes a nap Pa picks her up and they fly around the house like a buzzy bee and someone chases behind her, getting her toes. Madison thinks it's hilarious!

While Madison took a nap Daddy decided to take one too. Christmas is hard work!
When Madison woke up her and Mimi tried out her new table by playing her princess memory game from Uncle Michael.

After a super fun, long day Emma and I passed out on the couch when we got home. thanks Mimi and Pa for all our great Christmas goodies.

Doll House Christmas
Merry Christmas! We had the best Christmas this year. Madison is at such a fun age and was sooo excited to find out if Santa had left the doll house and the zoo she asked for each and every time she saw him. Well let me tell you, she was not disappointed!

...she also got some Disney Princesses to go in it!

Madison LOVED finding her each morning and by Christmas Trixie was running out of places to hide! Trixie wanted to stick around to watch the girls open presents Christmas morning before flying back to the North Pole. Here she is on top of the china cabinet.
