On Saturday night we had a birthday celebration for Madison and Mimi! Another year down.
I love how excited she gets! Mimi and Pa got her the American Girl gymnast set and she was stoked!
American Girl and Justice are by far Madison's favorite stores
Michael and Brittney gave her Tatlo, Kaya's huskey dog with sled.
7 Birthday Spankings!
Last night as a 6 year old!

Shenanigans
Time for some Unicorn Softball!!! The girl's first practice was lots of fun.
Emma found her chair from softball practice and tailgated in the back seat, reading books, while we waited for Madison to get out of school.
For St. Patrick's Day 2 of my favorite Girl Scout moms and I went to Boomer Jack's to partake in some holiday fun, complete with a leprechaun. We were super responsible and had one husband drop us off and one husband pick us up. lol! My new favorite drink these days is a Moscow Mule, yum!!!

Fire Station
Our Girl Scout Troop just took a tour of the Murphy fire station and they were so nice! We loved looking in the truck and seeing all their sleeping quarters/kitchen area. It was actually really nice!
Then we went across the street to the animal shelter and donated some supplies with a portion of our cookie money.

Dance Show Off
Madison and Emma just had their dance show off day and since they both go at the same time Mimi watched Emma and I watched Madison. This year Madison is in mini jazz and she seems to really like it. Thanks heavens for no tights!!! Their costumes just came in and are super cute.
Spring Break Wrap Up
The girls spent the last weekend of spring break with my parents so Chase and I had 2 whole nights to ourselves!!! It was amazing and we took full advantage. We ate sushi, went shopping, had mid day margaritas, ate at Del Frisco's and really enjoyed remembering what life was like without kids. Sunday morning though, we were up bright and early to hit the zoo because the sun was finally out. I didn't get any pictures but the girls loved it as always. That's one membership that always pays for itself 10 times over for us. After the zoo, Chase took us to Rodeo Goat and it was so delicious!!! They had yummy burgers and we sat outside to soak up all the sun we could. The girls loved the ring toss game and we could hardly break them away. Madison got a ringer twice!

Legos, Rainforest, SeaLife... Oh My!
Wednesday was our big adventure to Grapevine Mills Mall to do Lego Land, the SeaLife Aquarium and eat at the Rainforest Cafe. Lego Land is my least favorite and it gets super crazy crowded but luckily we got there early and were able to do the rides first so we didn't have to wait long for those. SeaLife was awesome! We really loved it and it may just be my most favorite aquarium that I've been to. We loved the parts where there was glass in the floor so you could see the fish swimming under you.
May the Force Be With You...
Emma was a little unsure about operating these cars by herself and was crying when it was their turn to go but I think the lady who "briefed them" beforehand scared her with all the rules. She did just fine when it was time to go.
Of course we had to sing to the almost birthday girl at Rainforest.
There were lots of "bubbles" in the aquarium so you could pop in and feel like you were swimming with the fishes.
Oh course no trip to Grapevine Mills is complete without a train ride and a spin around the carousel.
