TAYLOR SWIFT!!!

Saturday night was the night we've been waiting for over 7 months!  Finally, it was time to see Taylor Swift live in concert on her 1989 World Tour.  The girls know every word to this CD.  She performed at AT&T stadium and it was such a great show.  But what was even more great was watching Madison and Emma singing and dancing along to their favorite songs.  Hopefully that will be a night they will remember for a long time!!!  I have to give Chase credit for this one.  Her concert sold out in no time so he called in a favor to one of his clients and luckily they came through with 4 tickets.  They were lower level seats so definitely money well spent!  And at Jerry world it's almost impossible not to watch the massive screens so I think any seat is probably pretty good when you have those in front of you.  We love you Taylor (and daddy)!

Hello Shawn Mendes.  Vance Joy also opened for Taylor.

LOVING IT!!!

Taylor had lots of wardrobe changes.  This particular dress is a lite up dress

All the seats had a bracelet taped to them and they lit up and flashed different colors depending on what song was playing.  No idea how they did that but it was pretty cool.
Last year we had Disney magic bands and this year we had Taylor bands.  Wonder what we'll have next year???

Ellie Goulding was her special guest and she sang "Love Me Like You Do."

She saved "Shake It Off" for her final song and shake it we did!  Any girl in pink, sparkly shoes is a winner in my book.  Thank you Taylor for such a great night!

Here are some videos for your viewing pleasure!  If you listen close you can hear Madison singing.  =)  I have a couple others of "We are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and "Shake it Off" but they are longer and the files are too big to upload.  Such a great show.

4 year check up

Recently we went to visit Dr. Hieber for Emma's 4 year check up.  All is great and she is developing as she should.  We thought she was deaf for minute though because she was being a toot and wouldn't raise her hand when she heard a beep during her hearing test.  I finally got her to give me a high five when she heard a noise so she can hear just fine.  Ha!  She did have to get the flu mist, 3 shots, and a finger prick so we did not leave in the best of moods.  Here are her stats at age 4:

weight: 38 lbs 6 oz       74th percentile
Height:  39.75 inches    48th percentile

The other day Emma said, "Mommy I still love you even though you are bossy."  She tells me I'm bossy a lot and can't wait to be a mommy so she can be bossy too.  Ha, from the mouth of babes.  At least she still loves me.

Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch

Last Monday Madison had a school holiday so we took her to the Flower Mound pumpkin patch.  It was HOT!  Only in Texas would we be walking through a pumpkin patch in our flip flops and sweating our booties off.  Come on fall weather!  It was fun but quite crowded.  I think I preferred the Blase Family Farm but the Flower Mound farm was only $5 to get in per car and everything was included so more bang for your buck.

While Big Sis is Away Little Sis Will Play...

Since Madison was on a super fun camp out with daddy last weekend, Emma and I had a fun mommy and me weekend.  I asked her what she wanted to do Friday night after they left and she said, "Go shopping at Macy's!" ha, she is her mother's daughter.  We didn't end up going shopping but we did snuggle up on the couch and watch a movie which was equally as fun.  I let her sleep with me, for the first time ever, so she loved that.  On Saturday morning Mimi and Pa came over and we went to breakfast and then headed to Rockwall for the Blase Family Farm.  It was really cute and the perfect size for us.  Lots of great picture ops.  We had fun feeding animals, taking a hayride, and picking a pumpkin.

On the way home we stopped at the Murphy Fire Department for their open house.

And just in case that wasn't enough fun for one day we met our cute friend Tori to see Padington Bear at the Murphy Moonlight Movies.  It's fun watching a movie outside!
