Softball Party

Softball season finished up at the end of June.  Overall we came in 4th in the league and 4th in the tournament.  The girls worked so hard and it was another fun season for the Unicorns.  Well done girls!

Shelby's grandma was nice enough to open her home to us once again to have a nice pool party for our Unicorn family.  Chase ordered little Unicorn Beanie Boos for the girls to clip to their backpacks.  They were a big hit!

Summer Stuff

Madison has been dying to see The Secret Life of Pets so as soon as it came out, in fact the night before they had a screening, so we jumped at the chance to go.

Kylie had her 9th bday party at the ice skating rink so the girls and I had lots of ice time.  Daddy had to sit and coach us from the stands.

On Kylie's actual birthday we went to Pinstack and it was so much fun!  This was our first time to go and the girls loved it.  The climbing wall and ropes course were big hits with Madison!

7/11 was free slurpee day so we went straight to 7-Eleven afterwards

Then Chase surprised us all with Tiff's Treats so we were all on a big sugar high!!!

Aubree brought the girls back wolves from Great Wolf Lodge for watching Daisy and they love them.  It's their new favorite sleeping buddy.

Mini Me!

We tried out the new Jack Carter Pool and this little daredevil wanted to jump off the 10 foot platform.  Madison did it first but it wasn't her favorite so she went back to the 3 foot platform.  Emma beat me down until I let her try it and then it was her favorite thing.  Fearless!

After a fun day of swimming we attempted fishing again.  First time since Chase's accident.  It was super windy so were weren't getting any bites but since Madison is super determined she ran to the other end of the pond and threw her line in when we told her it was time to go.  Low and behold she reeled in this guy and started screaming, "It's a bass, It's a bass!"

Chase and I celebrated our 11th anniversary, a week late, so the girls spent the night with my parents so we could go to dinner.  They took the girls back to Pinstack since they had so much fun and we went shopping, I took a nap, and then ultimately ate dinner at Sushi Sake in Richardson.  We sat at the counter and it was delish!

Here's a few pic from our watermelon patch!  We have a handful growing but this Big Daddy is really taking off.  It's fun to watch them grow.

sporty spice!

Swimming Fun

Mimi's friend, Pam Galen, invited us over to her gorgeous home and pool for a swim.  The girls went last year while Chase and I were in Jamaica so they were excited to go back.

Happy 4th

On the 4th of July we went to Gram and Grandad's house to swim with the cousins.  Kylie brought her mermaid tail so the girls had fun passing it back and forth.

As soon as we got in the car there was a crazy loud boom of thunder and then a torrential down pour.  We couldn't have planned that better if we tried.  Glad we got the fireworks in!
