Happy Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a happy Turkey Day!  We had a yummy and relaxing day with the Culp crew at Chase's parents house.  All the cousins had fun playing together and all the adults had fun sitting around eating all day.

Thanksgiving Feast

On Thursday Madison had her Thanksgiving Feast at school so I got to go up and have lunch with her.  After lunch the kids sang and danced to a few Thanksgiving songs and it was really cute!

This is Madison's class turkey.  Each child brought home a "feather" to decorate.  Madison's is on the bottom right next to her head and she did this ALL by herself, glue and all.

Reunited!

Madison's best buddy Carter moved to San Francisco in March so we were super excited when Leanne said they were coming for 2 weeks around Thanksgiving!  They landed Tuesday night and we wasted no time and had them over Wednesday after school.  In fact at the last minute almost all of our play group was able to come over to see them so we had a fun little reunion.

Carter and Nathan came back to play on Friday and we plan on seeing them a couple more times before they leave!  Love these cutie patooties.

Texas Radio Hall of Fame

Last week Chase's dad was inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame.  It was a big deal because you have to be nominated by a committee and then voted in.  He's retired now so it speaks volumes of his accomplishments that he was nominated.  Congrats Clint!  We were so glad to be there with the guest of honor!

Family Photos

About three weeks ago we had a photo shoot at our photographer's family farm and I've been anxiously awaiting the results ever since.  At this age, with the "cheeeeese" face, you never know what you are going to get but Laura does not disappoint!  She captured some really great family memories and I adore all the images.  Since I print the blog at the end of the year I'm going to put them ALL here.  Just act surprised when you get your Christmas card this year.  =)
