Bridging Ceremony

Madison's Daisy Troop just completed their second year together so we had their bridging ceremony at our club house and it turned out super cute!  It was a bit last minute and we added some things the day of but everything looked great and we again lucked out with nice weather so they could literally walk across the bridge.

We had a busy morning of getting decor and baking

We added this candle piece at the last minute.  Each color represents a different petal that the girls earned so one by one they read what the petal meant and then "lit" (turned on) the candle.

My partners in crime.  =)  Tabetha is our leader, Wendy is our co-leader and handles all the finances, and I'm the cookie mom and host all the meetings at our house.  It takes a village!

Here's a few pics I took at our last meeting.  Trying to get a good one for the frame Tabetha made the girls!

Field Day

Last Friday Madison had field day so I went up to walk around and take pictures.  The kids had a great time and we lucked out with the weather.  There's been lots of showers lately so it was questionable!!!

Madison is always talking about Coach Marlow.  They have fun in PE!

Mrs. White-Myles has been a super teacher and Madison has already said she is going to miss her but she's glad the second grade hall is close by so she can go and visit.  =)

Gina, Madison, Hunter, and Adam.  These 4 buddies met in kinder last year and have been best buds ever since.

Fishing

We have had an absolute blast fishing the past few weekends!  We've had great luck with just a simple worm and a hook at PESH and at Murphy City park.  The girls pull fish out as soon as the bait hits the water so it keeps them entertained and me very busy (and dirty).
