20 Months

Today Emma is 20 months old and going strong.  She is still our little hurricane and requires all eyes on her all the time.  What a cute, little mess you are Emma!

We've been enjoying lots of time rocking on the porch in this nice weather

Emma, how old are you?

Lately after bath time Emma likes to wrap up in her towel and watch Bubble Guppies.  This is the only time she is completely still ALL DAY LONG!

For some reason Emma's been taking all her food off the plate and eating off the table

 Birthday party fun

Inseparable

Getting better with a fork

This blanket was Madison's and now it's Emma's most favorite thing.  She has to have this and a paci before going to sleep

Auntie Sarah is in town and brought the girls some summer necessities

We picked up this big sun hat so now we are ready for the pool.

Peek A Boo!

Oh how we love this messy girl!

Final Revue

Last Friday Madison had her end of year program at school and the theme was, "It's Been a Magical Year."  All the kids sang Disney songs and Madison's class sang tunes from Tarzan and The Jungle Book so they had to wear safari-ish clothes.  It was a cute show and afterwards they had a nice reception for all the families.  We have loved Madison's school and so has she, what a great first year of school!

Thanks Mrs. Fields for such a great year!

So proud of our little pre-schooler

Happy Mother's Day

We had a nice, low key Mother's Day at my parents house.  My dad cooked burgers, the girls played in the yard most of the day, and I think we all dozed off on the couch at one time or another.

First Ballet Recital!

Tonight was Madison's very first ballet recital and it was a huge success!  She did wonderful and we are so, so proud of our prima ballerina.  The recital was at Lake Highlands High School, where Chase and I went to school, and I told her it was really special because mommy danced on that same staged a long, long time ago.  Madison is a lucky little girl because she had quite the entourage of family members in the audience cheering her on.  It doesn't get much cuter than a bunch of 4 year olds prancing around the stage in pretty tutus.  Great job Madison, you are a star!

Madison was beaming and had such a great time.  She was proud of herself!
