As with Madison, this pregnancy has been super easy and I've felt great. Other than being tired the first 3 months I've had great energy, no nausea thank goodness, and we've kept up with all our usual activities. It's getting harder to move around and bending over is not easy to do but that just goes with the territory. And this heat, ug! Pregnant or not it's about to do me in. I guess it's payback for my mom being pregnant with me in 1980. So far, that's one of the hottest summers on record, if not THE hottest summer, and we are close to beating it with all our consecutive days of triple digit heat! I'm certainly ready for Fall. Emma moves all the time, especially at night so I'm wondering if I'm gonna have another night owl. I don't want to jinx myself, BUT, I have not had to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. I remember with Madison getting up every night and also having a little snack. Maybe it has something to do with Emma being breech? Or maybe I'm just tired at the end of the day nothing is going to wake me up. I haven't had any cravings but I certainly won't turn down anything sweet. I've always had a pretty big sweet tooth but I feel like it's even bigger now.
Here's a side profile of baby Emma's little face
We took Madison with us to the sonogram so she could "see" her baby sister. She was a little worried at fist and kept asking, "What's that girl doing," when the sonographer put the jelly all over my belly to start the sonogram. Miss Judy let Madison come push a button on the machine to take a picture so she thought that was pretty cool and held that particular picture for the rest of the day.
Me and my two girls. Emma is in the background on the screen.
I'm feeling hot, hot, hot!!!
Here's some belly pictures of my progression over the past 30 weeks.
