Grand Slam Hitter!

So far we have had 5 softball games and Madison has hit a grand slam at every single one! So crazy proud of her and how hard she works at the sport she loves. Keep up the good work sweet girl, you are on fire! Such a great season for the Fury so far.

Back Handspring

Since we didn't go to the fair because M was sick, Chase mowed the yard and Emma taught herself tricks on the trampoline. She ran in the house and said, "Mom, I can do a back handspring!" At first I didn't really believe her but went outside anyway for her to show me and sure enough! That little miss totally did a back hand spring. I shouldn't have been surprised, she's a little ball of muscle and when she gets it in her head she can do something, she does it! She has never done one by herself at gymnastics before so was totally proud to show her teacher. Go Emma!

Life...

We were supposed to go to the fair the day after the wedding but Madison woke up and said her throat hurt. I felt it and immediately knew it was strep so away to Nitehawk Pediatrics we went. $165 later and we had a prescription for Amoxicillin. I wish we could just call that in. Ug. After a day on the magical medicine she was feeling better but on Monday I woke up with what looked like a bite of some sort on my leg. I went to the doctor on Tuesday, he gave me a Penicillin shot, and I went back on Wednesday for another shot, and again on Thursday for a final shot to piggyback the oral pills. Ouch!!! My butt hurts but me leg is on the mend.

Madison came home with the Star Student poster so even though she wasn't feeling well she still went to work!

Holly and Brandon

Last weekend we had the privilege of attending Holly and Brandon's wedding! It was fabulous and we had a great time dancing the night away. It was black tie optional so we had the best time getting fancy. Super fun night! Congrats to Holly and Brandon!!!
