Pumpkin

We woke up to 63 degree weather today!  It definitely feels more like Fall than Summer so it's the perfect time to post pictures of our home grown pumpkin!  Around Easter the girls and I planted pumpkin seeds and we just picked our first pumpkin off the vine.  I think it's the only one we are going to get but it sure has been fun to watch it grow.  Next year we will have to wait until June to plant so maybe we'll get them during the right season.

 

We've been very into growing things lately.  Pumpkins, Marigolds, and Sunflowers!

 

Madison Lost Her 1st Tooth!

On Saturday night Madison pulled her very first tooth!  We noticed a bottom tooth was loose a couple weeks ago and she's been telling me it hurt to eat sandwiches at lunch.  We were having dinner at Chase's parents house and she noticed it was SUPER loose.  So, she kept wiggling, and wiggling, and we all had a turn checking it.  Gram found a little mirror to hold and look in and Grandad found a flosser, which helped immensely.  It had a handle so she could hook the floss around her tooth and pull down.  Finally it was literally just hanging so I reached in and helped get it out all the way.  She was so, so excited.  Mimi and Pa had to come over and check out her new smile.  It's nice having grandparents that live only 5 minutes apart from each other.  No more all baby teeth smiles, my girl is getting big!

9 Years

On July 9th Chase and I celebrated our 9 year wedding anniversary!  If you count our dating years we've been together more like 15 years.  Time has flown and I can't imagine sharing this crazy life with anyone else.

We celebrated by having a nice, quiet dinner on the patio at Jasper's.  It was delish!

Happy 4th!

I hope everyone had a happy 4th!  We had a great day with a little shopping, swimming, sparklers, food, family, and of course FIREWORKS.
