Pics from last couple weeks

Madison has been getting in some great time with her great grandparents lately. Granny came in town from Bogata to meet her new great granddaughter and it was so nice to have her here. We went over to visit my grandmother and granddaddy and walk through their garden because it's full of beautiful spring flowers. Granddaddy is quite the gardener. I also posted some pics of Madison relaxing. The one of us on the couch is how we spend most nights in between feedings because someone likes to snuggle, and there's one in her cute tutu outfit that Lisa made us.

5 weeks old and growing!

Madison was 5 weeks old this past Friday and we were very curious how much she weighed so I went to Babies R Us and bought a baby scale. Much to our surprise she is now up to 7 lbs and 9 1/2 oz! We were glad to know that she is growing. Her clothes are finally starting to fit better so we are pretty much out of preemie clothes now and on to new born sizes.

Madison's first photo shoot

Madison is 4 weeks old! We had her first photo shoot this weekend and she did very well. She was awake the whole time and we got some really great shots.

Two Weeks Old!

We went to our two week appointment with Dr. Hieber on Friday, April 3rd and Madison is almost back up to her birth weight of 6 lbs 5 oz. We left the hospital at 5 lbs 15oz and are now up to 6 lbs 2 oz. None of her new born clothes fit yet so we had to get some preemie clothes. We are still sleep deprived but it's getting a little better. Madison likes to be held and does not like to be put down so it makes for a long night! She definitely has us wrapped around her finger. Thank goodness Mimi and Gram live so close, they have been a huge help! Looks like we are going to have a little thumb sucker on our hands.

We Are Home!

After a couple nights in the hospital we are home with our precious angel and are having so much fun. We were greeted with a giant stork in our front yard announcing Madison's arrival courtesy of Gram and Grandad. Our new camera has been put to good use and we have already taken a million pictures so here are some of Madison's journey home and her first few days. Doesn't she look tiny in her car seat?
