Great Wolf Lodge!

Last Thursday I busted Madison out of school early and we made a B line to Great Wolf Lodge.  I didn't tell them where we were going until we got there but they knew as soon as we got close.  Super fun and exciting!
Surprise!!!

Madison was nice and let Emma have the top bunk this year.  The bunk bed is half the fun!  Here's a little hack for all my fellow "Great Wolfers."  Book a regular room and pay to upgrade when you get there.  It's a money saver! They will only upgrade on availability but we always go on a week night so it's never been a problem.

This is a serious water dump!  Hold on to the little one so she doesn't wash away!

The lily pads were a big hit this year.  Madison flew across them with ease and Emma jumped them like a boss.  No ropes for her.

Another great thing about Great Wolf is this cup.  We've been using it the last 3 year for unlimited free drink refills.  The Icee's are our favorite.

You forget how this place wears you out.  Especially when it's not crowded and you walk right up to the top of the water slides.  Chase brought the Go Pro so we had a lot of fun with it on the big slides with Madison.  Emma needs 1 more inch so next year she can give them a try.  Madison was big enough to ride the Tornado this year and she was nervous at first but once I got her on it she LOVED it.  Probably rode it 20 times.

The air quality this year was not the best.  By the second day the girls kept having horrible coughing fits and I was super sneezy.  I guess it was all that chlorine in the air but I don't remember it being so bad last year.  Yuck...other than that the girls loved it as usual.

Bluebonnets

After dance pictures we kept up our buns, because it was super windy, and we headed to the bluebonnet fields.  I knew the next week was going to be super rainy so this might be our only chance to get some pictures.  We never made it last time so I was determined!

The WINNER!

Dance Picture Day

I love dance picture and recital day!  It's so fun to get the girls all dolled up with hair and makeup and they love it too.  I'm obsessed with the girls costumes this year and they suit each one perfectly.  Madison looks awesome in her purple and I love her fringe.  Such a cute little jazz girl.  And oh sweet Emma!  Those gloves and top hat kill me.  Oh my cuteness!!!
