After Madison's birthday party we had our family over for snacks and cake. I've always thought cakes with multiple colored layers are so cute and fun so I decided to give it a try. It was 4 layers and huge, but I'm happy with how it turned out despite it's slight lean, ha! It was too tall for a cake dome so we had to make a foil tower over it until it was time to dig in.
I made a rainbow out of skittles
Singing cards are the best!
my multi-colored masterpiece
One of Madison's new favorite things is her unicorn dream lite from Gram and Grandad. She goes to bed with it shining light up on the ceiling every night, it is pretty cool. =)

Party Day!
On Sunday we had Madison's 4th birthday party at ASI Gymnastics and she had an absolute blast! I'm really happy with the way everything turned out and the staff at ASI could not have been better. They rushed out to help us unload the car and immediately started helping set up the party room, which was good since we could only arrive 15 minutes early. There were two coaches running the party and they were both so energetic and wonderful with the kids. Madison was all smiles the whole time and loved every minute. As soon as we got in the car she said she wanted to have her party there next year. I'd say that was a success! Get ready for picture overload!
Our theme this year was unicorn so I ordered her invitation and unicorn leotard off etsy
I was pleasantly surprised with the party room. I had never seen it before so was a little nervous what I had to work with but it was very spacious.
For party favors the girls got a flower pinwheel and the boys got a punch balloon
Everyone also got a mini unicorn pop

I'm not sure who had more fun, Madison or Emma? Emma was literally bouncing off the walls and hilarious during the whole party, she loved it. I think it's time for mommy and me gymnastics!

Our host put Madison on her back...
...and then bounced her up into her arms, fun!
"unicorn horn snacks" bugles covered with pink, purple, and turquoise colored edible glitter
Madison came home with their class pet "Speedy the tiger" on Thursday so we had to document his stay with us. What a fun weekend to have Speedy! Here he is with some of Madison's sweet school friends.
Goodbye hugs for our friends

Albertson's has these adorable mini sprinkle birthday ice cream cones that we have fallen in love with so Madison chose to have these for her friends in lieu of cake. They are delicious and so fun! The perfect size for little hands.
