Madison's 6th Birthday Party

This year Madison chose to have a Monster High birthday party at ASI Gymnastics.  3 years running and it's still our favorite party spot.  They did an amazing job as always and our birthday girl was all smiles.

Her invitations turned out cute.  I tried to find one without a skull but that's kind of the Monster High logo so I was not successful.  Oh well, the bow makes it a little less scary right?

This was our first "girls only" party and she wasn't very happy that we couldn't invite all her boy friends too but there just isn't enough room!  We have several groups of friends and lots of new friends this year so I told her we had to limit the list.

Freeze tag!

We requested coach Lee and were so happy that he was available because he is AWESOME!  He did such a great job and put on quite a show for the girls.  He teaches tumbling classes and is very entertaining and fun to watch.

Madison and Bianca are in the same class this year and have become the best of friends.

Her princess hat and scepter

Ninja move time!  Madison said she thinks Lee could be in the circus, lol.  He could definitely be a stunt man!

I forgot to take pictures of the cupcakes before hand and this is what we had left.  There were some really cute pink ones too but those were the first to go!

For party favors we did fun nail polish colors and hair ties in animal print and solids.

Thank you so much Coach Lee and Coach Morgan, you were fantastic!  Lee thanked Madison for NOT having a Frozen party.  He said that's all they've done lately.

Happy Happy Birthday Madison!

March Madness

Around here March Madness means a little more than just basketball.  March kicks off birthday party season and we have parties just about every weekend.  Usually more than one.  Of our 7 Girls Scouts, 5 of them have birthdays within days of each other. This weekend we had 3 including Madison's, which I will post on later, so it was a super fun (and super exhausting) weekend.
Saturday was party day and party we did.  Madison's party wasn't until 2 but we had a Sweet N Sassy party that morning for a friend.  All the girls got pop star makeovers which went right along with our Monster High theme so it was perfect, pink hair and all.

LOVE this picture of these sweet friends.  My favorite part is the headset microphones they all got to keep.  Madison loves hers!

This girl has sass for days!

Here's our birthday girl!   After her party all our family came over for round 2.  Stay tuned...

On Sunday we had a princess party for our sweet friend Layla.  All the girls got to put on princess dresses and have their hair and nails done in between karaoke sessions of the Frozen soundtrack.

Happy 6th Birthday Madison!

Today Madison turned 6 years old, how is that possible!  Oh, how time flies.  She had another great day and it was full of treats.  I snuck up to her room last night and threw in some pink and zebra balloons.  She was quite concerned when she woke up and said, "MOM, there's balloons all over my floor."  My little prim and proper priss was not expecting that, lol.  I had to go up and tell her it was ok and that I put them there.

It was assembly day so she wore her Boggess shirt to school with her cute happy birthday shirt underneath.  They recognize birthdays on the morning announcements so she thought that was pretty fun.

At lunch time Mimi, Emma, and I took Wendy's up to eat a special lunch with the big 6 year old.  She was all smiles in her birthday hat that she got to wear ALL DAY.

I took cookies up for her class birthday treat and then after school we met some of our sweet pre-school friends at Sweet Frog for some yummy frozen yogurt.
Once daddy got home it was time to open the rest of her presents.  We have been waiting to tell her we are going to see Taylor Swift for a couple months now and I was so excited for her to find out.  Her reaction was great and she screamed with delight!  Hurry up October!

After all the excitement we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner.  She couldn't wait for me to tell the waiter it was her birthday so she could ride the saddle while they sang to her.

Yee Haw!

Happy, Happy Birthday my love!  Tomorrow is party day so we will have yet another day of fun.
