Snoozin...

It's 9:15 and someone is still asleep!

Dirty Dog

Why is so much fun for dogs to roll around and get covered in grass? Arnie was pouting because I woulnd't let him in like this but I'm pretty sure he enjoyed the weather yesterday.

Camera Purge

Tonight I uploaded pictures from our smaller camera that I tend to keep in the diaper bag when I don't want to lug around the big Nikon. I didn't remember what was on here but came across some cute pictures worthy of documenting. I already ordered and received my blog book for 2010 so these didn't make the cut, oh well. Note to self, next year check all cameras before ordering book!

This picture was taken right after Thanksgiving. We were at Home Depot getting lights for the house and Madison got quite cozy in her stroller. Doesn't she look comfortable?

And here's our first trip to Chuck E Cheese! I can't believe I forgot to post these. Jill and I took the kids at the beginning of December and had the entire place to ourselves for over an hour, it was greatness. Did you know that all the games have tickets already coming out of them first thing in the morning? We walked around and swiped as many as we could.

Look mom, I won tickets!

Madison loved this slide and as soon as she discovered it I could hardly get her to do anything else.

Playing ski ball

Why roll the ball up the ramp when you can walk the ball up the ramp?

My blog book for 2010 has 355 pages and looks like an encyclopedia next to my blog book for 2009, ha! I love the way it turned out though and it's such a great memento from the year. Hopefully I can keep up my super blogger status for 2011!

22 Months

Today Madison is 22 months old. Just two short months and we'll have a spunky little two year old on our hands. She hasn't been her usual self the past couple days and cries if another kid barely touches her so not sure if this is a glimpse of the terrible twos or if she's just going through a super sensitive phase. This month I can't think of too many new things to document but here's some things to remember:

-Madison loves her Dora and Me video where she is one of the characters so we watch it every night
-At Hayden's birthday party she discovered blueberries so we've been eating them a lot lately
-she's forming more and more sentences. When Chase gets home from work she's been saying, "how are you doing daddy?"
-still napping from 1-3
-loves to take bites of whatever we're eating and usually steals our snacks and finishes them off herself
-really great at trying new foods
-Gym Dandies and story time at the library started back up this month
-Pump it Up Jr. has been a big hit lately so I went ahead and booked her birthday party because she loves it so much!

Sharing cheerios with daddy. Chase brought home some new Cinnamon Cheerios and they are quite tasty!

Playing in the snow with Arnie

Madison has discovered condiments and requests ketchup more and more to "dip"

She's all girl! The other day we came across this hat while cleaning out the closet and Madison has been wearing it ever since.

Last Friday we had a fun play date with Parker, Baby Cole, and Will. I forgot my camera so I stole this picture from Lisa and I know Megan has some cute ones so I'll have to post those later.

WWF, these two had a fun time wrestling.

Lisa makes these adorable hats and she brought us one of her newest additions. Isn't it cute?

And Megan made us this adorable shirt

Gym Dandies

We like to eat powdered sugar donuts now and then

She likes to brush her teeth but doesn't like me to help her

Here's the funny face she makes when she hears a noise, silly girl.

Happy 22 months Madison!

January Birthdays

On Saturday after nap time we headed over to Chase's parents house to celebrate Chris's and Gram's birthday. We had lots of fun as usual and the kids enjoyed running all over the place. I have to note Gram has a particular video that was probably made in the early 1980's, so it's a VCR tape, and Madison is OBSESSED with it. It's a Kid Song video and at the beginning they sing the BINGO song so that's what Madison calls it. It has a group of kids who go to the zoo so there's all sorts of animals and songs. She gets so excited and starts dancing and clapping to the music as soon as the tape starts. Right when we walked in the door Madison started screaming, "Bingo, Bingo," and raced back to Gram's room so someone would turn it on for her. I'm pretty sure we've watched this stupid video over a 100 times. It was a hand me down from cousin Cody who is now 18 and it has entertained Ashley, Brett, Kylie, and now miss Madison. I'm sure Hayden will fall into suit before too long.
Here's some pictures from our evening.

Quick piano lesson from Gram

Madison always has to put these bronze birds on the piano keys

About to blow out their candles

Catching Snowflakes

Madison was so interested in the snow this morning she pulled her chair up to the window to watch the flakes fall.

She finally convinced daddy to take her outside

Open wide!

I put Madison in her winter gear so we could stay outside longer than a few seconds

Happy 1st Birthday Hayden!

Yesterday we celebrated Hayden's 1st birthday, I can't believe he's already one! Jill and I decorated the house with lots of jungle animals and it turned out pretty cute. Here's some pictures from the party.

Madison loved the safari hat
