Winter Wonderland

This is my last post of the year and I couldn't think of a better way to end it.  We woke up the day after Christmas to a beautiful winter wonderland so of course we had to go out to play.  So far in Madison's 4 Christmases 50% of them have been white, I'd say that's pretty good odds!

Arnie loves the snow and had a great time running around like a crazy dog!

Our driveway was pretty iced over so we put the girls in a box and let them slide down it

Madison thought it was more fun than Emma did so she took a few extra turns by herself

After a fun snow day we went over to see my cousins and let the girls play.  The only pic I managed to get was this cute one of Madison and Lula decorating the jewelry box we gave her.

2012 was a beautiful, crazy, exciting, playful, sometimes stressful, and did I say crazy? year for this family of four.  Hopefully the new year will just as great.  Bring it 2013!

Culp Family Chirstmas

After a fun morning of playing with all our new Santa toys we got dressed and headed over to Chase's parents house for more Christmas fun.  As usual you could hardly walk in the living room with all the presents spilling out from underneath the tree.

Emma and Grammie checking out the snack and dessert table, I'd be smiling too!

Madison got a Bucky Pirate ship!  We LOVE Jake and the Neverland Pirates around here.

Swimming in a sea of wrapping paper and presents

During lunch it started to snow so we had to go check it out

When the wind blew you could hardly keep your eyes open!

Here's our house after a big day of snow

We let the girls, mainly Madison, go run around for second before it was back inside to play

Emma wasn't a huge fan of the snow at first

But everything was bright and sunny back inside

Madison had a great time playing with her new pirate ship.  She lined up all her zoo animals and pretended they were bad guys so she could shoot water cannons at them!

Christmas Morning 2012

Merry Christmas!  We had to wake the girls up on Christmas morning around 9 because they were still snoozing from a fun and busy day before.  They were so excited when we walked downstairs and quickly started checking out all the goodies Santa left for them.  This was a really fun year because Emma was super expressive  and got so excited when she saw all the gifts under the tree.  Although she isn't talking yet she was pointing and squealing and really into this whole Christmas thing!  And of course it was great to see Madison's eyes light up and yell with excitement when she saw Santa brought her the things on her list.

It was a very Minnie Christmas for Emma!

This kitchen was a together gift and it's been a big hit.  In fact, the girls love playing with each other's toys just as much as their own so pretty much everything was a together gift.

Madison loved her kitchen!

 Minnie Mouse pajamas!

Right before I took this picture Madison was distraught because she was going through all her zoo animals and did not see the bear, which apparently she really wanted.  Then low and behold she found that Santa left him hiding in the kitchen sink!  She was happy to have her bear.

Singing karaoke while playing with all her new zoo animals

Madison got this zoo last year and it's been the gift that keeps on giving.  She loves it and and asked for more zoo animals to go with it this year so I'm pretty sure we have just about all of them now.  Fisher Price loves us!

Here's Chase and Madison trying out a fun rafting game on the xbox.  It has a motion sensor instead of a controller so you have to move side to side and jump up and down.

And here's Chase playing "pop the bubbles"

Then he used Emma to pop the bubbles and she thought it was hilarious!

After playing with all our fun new stuff we got dressed and headed to Gram and Grandad's house for round 2 of Christmas with the whole Culp clan.
